If there's one thing that just about everybody loves, it's puppies. They are cuddly and playful and always up for a treat or snuggle. CBS News shared a video on Monday, March 25th of a five-year-old who was visiting a dog breeder when he was 'attacked' by a litter of very big black puppies, and it's the cutest thing you'll see today!

The little boy was all bundled up in his cold weather gear and attracted the attention of five excited puppies. Tails wagging, they couldn't help but show the little boy how much they wanted to play! In the end they knock him down (the boy is all smiles!) and he's literally swept away by puppies!

I am so jealous of this little boy's adorable experience! CBS News commenters also swooned over the video. Wordbird28 spoke for all of us when they said, "I wanna be that kid!!!" @ILOVETIKTOK64 shared, "We don’t deserve dogs. They are the bestest!"

Facts About Newfoundland Dogs

Commenter @Here for the Award swooned, "Newfoundlands. The best dogs ever!" I thought that was what kind of dog the huge puppies were but wasn't sure so I'm glad the commenter knew.  The only thing I know about these dogs is that they are gentle giants, and that they get very big!

Newfoundland dogs are affectionately referred to as Newfies. One Pet Helpful article describes them as, "...among the sweetest and most devoted dogs around. Thanks to their long history of water rescues, these dogs are born with great patience and empathy." They are gentle, extremely loyal, and very protective. The average size for a female is 26” and weight is 100-120 pounds and for a male it is 28” and weight is 130-150 pounds.

Just by looking at these dogs you can tell they have a lot of fur and yes, they shed a lot. Grooming is a must if you want to try to keep your house from having dog hair everywhere. It should be done at least once a week; if they are not groomed on a regular basis, they will develop huge mats and knots in their fur. You also need to keep the fur between the pads on the bottom of their paws trimmed regularly and kept short. This will help the dog have better traction on floors, and they will be less likely to slip. Their ears should be cleaned once a month with ear cleaner that you can purchase from your vet.

Here's a fun fact about a famous Newfie, J. M. Barrie's adorable nanny dog, Nana, from the book Peter Pan. "Despite being mistaken for a Saint Bernard (and portrayed as one in several film adaptations), the dog was actually intended to be a Landseer Newfoundland based on Barrie's own Newfoundland named Luath." And here most of us thought Nana was a St. Bernard!
