Community volunteers tie elderly man to tree after he breaks Covid-19 lockdown rules in northern China

An elderly man was tied to a tree by community volunteers after breaking coronavirus lockdown rules in northern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province on January 17, shows four volunteers in red uniform using a rope to tie the elderly man to a tree, while another volunteer was heard swearing at him.

According to reports, all residents in Shijiazhuang City were ordered to stay at home amid a new Covid-19 outbreak.
