Piers Morgan interrupted by viral vaccination star Martin Kenyon asking 'Who are you?'
Watch: Piers Morgan get shot down by 91-year-old GMB guest
Piers Morgan suffered a rare interruption on Good Morning Britain when an interviewee asked him: “Who are you?”
The outspoken TV presenter is used to shooting down his guests, but the tables were turned by grandfather Martin Kenyon, 91, who appeared on the ITV breakfast show as one of the first people in the UK to receive the COVID vaccine.
Morgan, 55, was almost two minutes into his interview with Kenyon – whose interview with American news network CNN as he left Guy's Hospital in London has gone viral – when he told the pensioner he knew a lot about him.
Kenyon replied: “Now, who are you?”
Morgan and co-host Susanna Reid burst out laughing as Kenyon repeated: “Who are you? He’s laughing at his own jokes now.”

Kenyon’s CNN interview – in which he described his trip to the hospital to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in a very British, matter-of-fact way, including complaining about parking and having a “rather nasty lunch” – went viral on Twitter on Tuesday.

He said: “It seemed sensible to get on with it because I have two delicious grandchildren and I’ve not been able to hug them for months.
“I’m planning to spend Christmas with them all and I thought, if I’ve had the vaccine I can hug them.”
He added: “Hug is a silly word but they’re very delightful.”
Morgan tweeted afterwards: “Love him...”
