Why man entered supermarket in only his underwear

A man was ejected from a Tesco store in Wales after he turned up in just his boxer shorts and a face mask in protest at a new rule that stipulates clothes are "non-essential" items.

Chris Noden, 38, tried to enter a Tesco supermarket with a trolley in Newport, South Wales, but was stopped by security staff, according to The Independent.

The restriction on items deemed non-essential saw large supermarkets cordoning off aisles and placing plastic sheeting over items including children's clothes, bedding and kettles.
