Surfer practises her favourite sport at home

A water sports fan is missing life on the ocean so much she decided to take up surfing from home - using a hammock and a hairdryer.

Yasemin Özer balances a surfboard on a hammock and uses a hair-dryer to simulate warm summer breezes as she practises her favourite sport in land-locked Switzerland.

Yasemin, 28, who is half Italian and half Turkish, said: "I conceived this video simply because you gotta get that surfing feeling somehow!

"I looked at the hammock and thought that could be something... then simply put up the surfboard. I added the hair dryer so that it fits with the feeling. If I would have had someone who tipped salt water in my face when I fell off the feeling would have been complete."
