Incredible footage shows the transformation a wild stoat undergoes as it changes the colour of its fur ahead of winter.
Robert E Fuller of Thixendale, North Yorkshire, documents how the mammal's coat gradually whitens over a few weeks, enabling the stoat to camouflage in the winter snow.
Fuller told Newsflare: "To improve camouflage in snowy conditions, some stoats change from brown to white in the winter months."
"This change can be very gradual and so it was amazing for me as a wildlife artist to watch this female's coat change in colour over the course of nearly 6 weeks."
