Holland renamed: Just use 'The Netherlands', says government
The Dutch government is to officially drop "Holland" from its promotional campaigns and use "The Netherlands" instead.
It wants to promote more sustainable tourism and encourage visitors to check out other cities beyond its capital, Amsterdam, with its reputation for drug use and the red light district.
