Adam Boulton pokes fun at David Cameron

Sky News presenter Adam Boulton made a funny joke about former Prime Minister David Cameron, after he shared his thoughts on the election results live on TV.

Mr Cameron was appearing on Sky News to congratulate Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party, adding that this result 'marked the end' of Corbyn and Corbynism.

At the end of the short clip the camera cut back to Boulton, who quipped: "Well I don't know why he's talking to a tree."

The light-hearted moment came after what was a dramatic night for the country, as the Conservatives were returned to power with an 80 seat majority.

Boris Johnson's resounding victory in the general election has led to speculation over the direction Britain's future relationship will take with the EU, and the stability of the UK.
