Nearly five years ago a land mass exploded into existence... literally.

Unofficially known as Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haʻapai, the island you're looking at formed in 2015 from an undersea volcano.

Nestled between two older islands in the South Pacific island nation of Tongo, few have visited this place in person.
