Whale breaches to inspect raft off California's coast

A curious whale breaches and inspects a raft full of people on off the Los Angeles coast, California.

The close encounter shows a whale coming to the surface and edging towards amazed spectators who were leaning over the raft's edge to take a closer look.

"He wants a kiss," one man says, to laughter as a woman films the epic encounter.
