Kate Middleton 'would love' to have another baby with Prince William

Could there be another Cambridge on the way soon?

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge may be thinking about adding a fourth child to their tight-knit brood. Kate "would love to have one more child" with Prince William, said a source to Us Weekly, adding that the couple have loved seeing their children grow up and watching their personalities evolve.

The insider explained: "They love playing together and being creative. Painting, baking and building things are all activities they enjoy, and now that Louis' a bit older, he gets involved too."

"Charlotte's extremely confident and loves attention," continued the source to the publication, "whereas George is more reserved, although he is starting to come out of his shell. George is always looking out for his younger brother and sister and is already showing traits of making an excellent leader," they added, mentioning that Louis is definitely a "mummy's boy".

The Duchess of Cambridge had previously responded to questions about adding baby number four to her mix on her tour of Northern Ireland last winter. While greeting royal well-wishers in a town walkabout, the duchess stumbled upon Alan Barr and his baby James. The 5-month-old caught the eye of Kate, who stopped by to say hello, according to the Daily Mail.

"He's a very sweet little boy... He's so diddy. Makes me very broody," the royal said. When asked about the possibility of baby number four, Kate merely smiled.

"I think William might be slightly worried," the duchess joked.

Despite their titles, the royal couple have attempted to instil a very normal childhood for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with budget flights, hand-me-down clothes and Halloween costume shopping. Duchess Kate and Prince William are regularly seen on early morning carpool runs at Thomas's Battersea, in South London, where the two eldest Cambridges attend school.

Their decision to forgo the elite and traditional "Eton-style feeder" the royal family has attended in the past in favour of the private school was seen as a huge break from tradition. Located in an up-and-coming area of London, the school seeks to invoke social responsibility and kindness as its core values, while promoting classes like dance and foreign language.

The school's values seem very in line with the couple's parenting style, which, according to Kate, places particular emphasis on values like kindness and respect.

"My parents taught me about the importance of qualities like kindness, respect, and honesty, and I realise how central values like these have been to me throughout my life," Kate said during a visit in 2017, according to People.

The duchess continued: "That is why William and I want to teach our little children, George and Charlotte just how important these things are as they grow up. In my view, it is just as important as excelling at maths or sport."

Said an insider according to RadarOnline: "It would absolutely horrify Elizabeth but Kate insists the kids should be allowed to be normal children. Never in royal history have the children in direct line to the throne been raised in such a modern way."
