Unknown species of octopus found 5,000 ft below sea level

Researchers at Nautilus Live spotted this exotic creature floating in the Pacific Ocean.

Dancing at a depth of around 5,250ft, this elegant octopus measures an estimated 4.2ft long and entertained scientists for more than five minutes.

"It's really putting on a show for us," said a researcher as the cephalopod made its way toward the camera.
