Over the next few weeks, a local beauty spot in North Carolina will begin to see an influx of people hoping to catch a glimpse of the 'Shadow of the Bear'.

The naturally-occurring phenomenon happens daily for around 30 minutes when, if you're in the right position, you can see the image of the animal being slowly revealed against the backdrop of Whiteside Mountain.
