Government launches leaflet campaign to prepare Britain for no-deal Brexit

Boris Johnson is reportedly planning to spend £10m on TV ads and leaflets informing the public about what leaving the European Union without a deal in October would mean.

The new PM is planning to send leaflets to 27m households across the UK, according to The Sun.

The government is also working on TV ads and a website explaining how a no-deal Brexit would affects things like imports, travel, and food and medicine supplies.

Johnson has made leaving the EU on October 31 the main pledge of his premiership, even if it means doing so without a deal. During his leadership campaign, he described leaving on the scheduled exit date as "do or die".
