The European Space Agency said on Tuesday that a roughly 160-foot-wide asteroid, named 2006 QV89, will not crash into Earth when it comes around in September of 2019.
Their announcement comes amid a great deal of speculation about how doomed we are.
The concern is rooted in reports that back in 2006, the odds of it striking us were reported at one in 7,000.
Soon after and ever since, the whereabouts of the asteroid have been impossible to determine.
