Shocking footage shows how pair miraculously escaped tiger attack

This terrifying footage has emerged from India showing a pair on a motorbike narrowly avoiding a charging tiger.

Filmed in the Indian state of Kerala the footage depicts the tiger racing towards the bikers as they travelled through the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary.

After initial reactions to the video saw the men criticised for being in a protected area it emerged that the pair were Forest Department officials who were checking on tiger sightings in the area, according to a report in the Hindustan Times.
