Lightning strikes Russian rocket during launch

A Russian Soyuz rocket was struck by lightning during its launch on Monday.

Incredible footage shows the bolt hitting the craft just seconds after it leaves the ground.

Amazingly, no damage was done and the rocket was able to complete its mission.
