Curious cows chase man through woods

A hiker became more frantic as a herd of cows refused to stop following him.

He filmed the footage as he walked through a wooded area in Washington state, in the US.

His attempts to fend them off were ignored despite him shouting at them.

"Cows started chasing me while I was hiking through a trail that has free range cows on it," he said.

"They were clustered around the road and I tried to go around them and they ended up chasing me."

The footage ends with the inquisitive herd still trying to keep tabs on him.
