It turns out that self-made millionaires and billionaires do things a little differently than everyone else.

Sarah Stanley Fallow, author of The Millionaire Next Door:Enduring Strategies for Building Wealth, surveyed more than 600 millionaires in America.

During her research, she came across some traits common to many of the richest people on her list.
