The time children in America were happily sprayed with pesticides

Between 1940 and 1960, over one billion tons of pesticides were sprayed across America.

DDT pesticides were sprayed on grass, plants... and even children!

Unaware of the dangers, Americans didn't mind being sprayed by the chemical compound, believing it was a miracle cure for polio, a disease that was rampant across the country at the time.

US soldiers even used DDT during WWII to combat typhus.
