Eurostar has suspended all trains due to a trespasser draped in a St George’s flag.

All services to and from London St Pancras Station are currently cancelled after the trespasser climbed on to the station roof, where it is believed he spent the night.

A 44-year-old man was arrested this morning on suspicion of trespass and obstruction.

Police were initially called to the scene at around 7pm last night.

Passengers have been advised not to travel this morning and that tickets can be cancelled or exchanged at no extra cost.

Eurostar confirmed that services would be impacted until at least 9.45am “due to a trespasser on the tracks”.

British Transport Police said: “A 44 year old man has this morning been arrested for trespass and obstruction of the railway, having spent the night on the roof of St Pancras Railway Station.”
