Mel B has said that her fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is ‘a bit of a bitch’, but she still hopes that she will join the band on their revival tour.

Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice, has been the only hold out from the band, which announced plans to reform and tour last summer.

Mel, real name Melanie Brown, made the comments during her interview with Piers Morgan for his Life Stories chat show.

Asked what she’s like as a person, Brown replied: “She’s very down to earth but she’s just a little bit of a b*tch to people.

“She’s very down to earth, she is, with a great sense of humour. I think between the five of us we’re all b*tches at some point.”

As for Beckham’s refusal to go on tour, she added: “I am sad she is not going to be there. But she is busy with what she is doing with her fashion line and her family.

“But I am gutted that she is not going to be with us. But I am still going to hold that candle and hope that she will.”

Brown has also claimed that she once had a physical altercation with Shaznay Lewis, from the girl band All Saints.

Speaking on the Allegedly podcast, she said: “There was this girl group called All Saints. And I had already beaten up one of them in the bathroom – the black girl Shaznay.

“She started giving me attitude so I went in the bathroom and tried to rip her weave off. And she chokes me and then we kinda got split up, but I won.”

Lewis has denied that the incident happened, however.

“Shaznay says this story is not true,” a rep for the singer told Digital Spy. “Mel B once came to an All Saints show and was invited to the after party. Mel and Shaznay had a brief friendly chat and that was all.

“Otherwise they don’t really know each other – so we are baffled as to why Mel would make this up.”

The comments come after she claimed that she and Geri Horner had a lesbian fling in the early days of the band.

Brown has since tried to row back the comments.
