Jack the Ripper's true identity may have been revealed through genetic testing, a recently published paper by two UK based scientists claims.

The report points the finger at 23-year-old Aaron Kosminski, who has continued to be a prime suspect in the London murders.

The pair conducted the research by analysing DNA taken from a blood and semen-stained shawl that was believed to be found near the body of one of the Ripper's victims.
