Why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly hiring a royal 'manny'

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, along with her husband, Prince Harry, are expecting their first child this spring. And after Meghan gives birth, she will reportedly not only be surrounded by her loving family and friends, but she may also have a male nanny on hand to help her, Travel and Leisure reports.

The couple are apparently keen on a 'manny' because they apparently want to follow a "modern American approach" to parenting.

And, as a royal insider said, "Hiring a manny is far more common in the US — a nation that Meghan is more in tune with — than in the UK. She's keen to introduce the royal family to what she considers a more enlightened, modern American approach."

In other news, the Duchess has carried out her last official public engagement before the arrival of her baby.

Heavily-pregnant Meghan joined the royals at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, after visiting Canada House with the Duke of Sussex.
