Music equipment stolen in break-in at cathedral

Music equipment worth more than £1,000 has been stolen from a cathedral.

A guitar, voice synthesizer and projector were taken in the break-in at St Andrew’s Cathedral on King Street in Aberdeen.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which occurred between 8.00pm on Thursday and 8.30am on Friday.

Pc Rachel Cruden, who is leading the inquiry, said: “This is a busy area and I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious during the time in question, or who has been offered such items for sale, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
