Selena Gomez shares bikini pic as she continues Instagram return

Selena Gomez is inching her way back into the spotlight, and she appears happier and healthier than ever as she does so.

Late on Monday night, the star took to Instagram to share photos of herself celebrating pal Courtney Barry's bachelorette party at an undisclosed beach locale.

"My best friend is getting married, so we celebrated her!" she captioned a gallery post of pictures. "Future Mrs. Lopez."

The 26-year-old star is all smiles in the photos, in which she rocks a cream-coloured bikini, big gold hoop earrings and slicked back hair.

The post was just the fourth time that Gomez has taken to social media since January, when she broke her months-long social media silence after taking some much-needed time away from work to focus on her mental health.

"It's been awhile since you have heard from me, but I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and to thank you for your love and support," she wrote on January 14. "Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth. It's always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it's not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all."

Since then, she has also posted in support of her new Puma collaboration and her duet with singer-songwriter, Julia Michaels, called "Anxiety."

"This song is extremely close to my heart as I've experienced anxiety and know a lot of my friends do too," she said of the song. "You're never alone if you feel this way. The message is much needed and I really hope you guys like it!"
