Storm Erik hits Leeds Bradford Airport forcing BA plan to abort landing

This BA aircraft was hit by strong crosswinds from Storm Erik as it made its final approach to Leeds Bradford airport on Saturday.

The Airbus A319 actually touched down but then bounced back into the air forcing the pilots to perform a "go-around" and make another attempt at landing the plane.

"Gusts of up to 50 knots (60MPH) were recorded across the runway making these crosswind conditions very challenging for the pilots," said the filmer.
