How to manage the cold in winter

Winter is well under way, and if you are one of those "always cold" people, you may want to try out some of these hacks to help you manage cold better.

1. Get your iron levels checked

When iron levels are low people tend to get cold more easily. Eating iron-rich foods such as spinach, lentils, eggs and cashews could help fight getting cold.

2. Use a sandwich bag on your feet!

Place plastic bags over your socks before you slip on your shoes because there's nothing worse than cold-wet feet when in rain or snow.

3. Get enough sleep

Studies have linked sleep deprivation with a lowering of body temperature.
