Matt LeBlanc got asked if he was Joey Tribbiani's dad
Matt LeBlanch was left in an awkward position when a new fan of Friends asked him if he was his character Joey Tribbiani's father.
The 51-year-old actor who played the popular character on the US series from the first episode in 1994 which as since been repeated on Netflix attracting a whole new generation of viewers.
The soon-to-be former Top Gear presenter recalled an incident with a younger fan who thought he was actually the father of Joey.
The actor told US daytime TV show Live with Kelly & Ryan: "It seems like every year there's a new generation that watches it.
"I was walking down the street one day, this was a few years ago, this kid, he must have been 13, 14, he's like, Oh my god, you're Joey's dad!"
"And, my response was scram!"
LeBlanc has so far ruled out appearing in a reunion of the hit sitcom, despite rumours.
