Donald Trump has been nominated for a gong at a Hollywood awards ceremony.

But it’s probably not one he’d want on his mantelpiece.

The 45th President of the United States has been nominated in the worst actor category at the Golden Raspberries, Hollywood Reporter says.

And it’s not the first time. Back in 1991 he won worst supporting actor at the ‘Razzies’ for his role in Ghosts Can’t Do It.

This year’s nominations are for archival footage as himself in Dinesh D’Souza’s Death of a Nation and Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9.

Fellow nominees include Johnny Depp for Sherlock Gnomes, Will Ferrell for Holmes & Watson, John Travolta for Gotti and Bruce Willis for Death Wish.

The US leader is also up for worst screen combo for himself and “his self-perpetuating pettiness” in Death of a Nation and Fahrenheit 11/9.

First Lady Melania Trump is up for worst supporting actress in Fahrenheit 11/9 and his adviser, Kellyanne Conway is also nominated in that category for the same film.

The first Golden Raspberry Awards ceremony — created by John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy — was held on March 31, 1981. This year’s ceremony will be held Feb. 23.
