Meghan Markle and Prince Harry chose this colour for royal baby's nursery

Last week Meghan Markle let the world in on the royal baby's due date, so it's no surprise she and Harry have already been preparing the nursery. However, the baby's room isn't going to be your traditional pink, blue or yellow.

"According to sources who are helping with [their new home] renovations, the nursery itself is going to be very modern", royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. "Apparently, it's going to be a monochrome palette — whites and grays, I'm told, will be the color theme for baby Sussex's nursery."

The neutral colour makes sense because as Nicholl also said, Meghan and Harry have decided not to find out the sex.

Either way, royal protocol usually calls for the sex of the baby to be kept mum until the birth. Back in 2013, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seemed to drop hints before the birth of George and an excited Prince Harry accidentally spilled the beans.

So, the gender reveal party will ultimately be the birth of Baby Sussex. And hey, if Harry has a hard time staying quiet, maybe keeping the gender unknown is a little more intentional than we think.
