Police ridiculed for releasing mugshot resembling E.T.

Staffordshire Police posted a computer-rendered mugshot of a suspected female burglar on Facebook after two men and one woman broke into a home and stole cash and electronic goods, and the drawing has caused much hilarity because of the likeness to the movie character E.T.

"Someone find this woman urgently. She needs to phooooone hoooome", said one user.

Another said "Last seen escaping the area on a bike flying with a basket on the front", referencing the famous flying across the moon scene.
