One dead in house fire in Perthshire

One person has died following a house fire.

Firefighters and police were called to the scene in Fortingall near Aberfeldy, Perthshire, at around 7.15am on Friday.

Police said one person died but they have not yet been formally identified.

Officers will carry out a joint investigation into the blaze with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
