In Pictures: William and Kate spread Christmas cheer on charity visits
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have met young patients at a children’s hospital and clients of a homeless charity during a day of charity visits in central London.
Kate is the new patron of Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and met privately with families who use the hospital services regularly.
The couple went on to meet staff and clients of homeless charity The Passage at the St Vincent’s Centre.
William first visited the charity in 1994 with his younger brother, Harry, when the pair were 12 and 10, alongside their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
They heard from frontline workers about the challenges relating to street homelessness, including drug addiction and mental health issues.
