Man 'coward' punches complete stranger at station in Australia

CCTV caught the moment a man 'coward punched' a stranger on the platform at Richmond Station in Victoria, Australia last weekend.

The footage shows the attacker walk aggressively towards the victim, walk past and then double back and sucker punch the victim while his back was turned.

Local police said the victim, 30, was rendered immediately unconscious by the attack and further injured himself when he collapsed to the ground. He received facial, back and head injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. He has since been released.

Police said there was no contact between either party prior to the assault. The attacker was described as Caucasian with a medium build, shaved head and aged in his thirties or forties.
