Ah beavers, those industrious little beasts - equally at home on land, water or climbing trees.

Apart from this one, that is.

Video footage captured by the US Fish and Wildlife Service shows the eager creature clambouring up on to part of a tree before hilariously losing its balance and exiting stage left.

We hope he or she was OK!
