Crash victim airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries

A driver has been airlifted to hospital for treatment to serious head injuries after his car left the road and hit a tree.

The man, in his early 20s, was driving the green Range Rover on the A827 between Kenmore and Aberfeldy when the accident happened at 5.51pm on Sunday.

The emergency services attended and he was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to what the police said were “very serious head injuries”.

The two passengers in the Range Rover, both men, were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
