Harry and Meghan set for tram ride and beach clean-up in Melbourne
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will help primary school children tidy up a beach and take a ride on one of Melbourne’s trams during a visit to the city on Thursday.
Harry and Meghan will head to the capital of Victoria after spending two days in New South Wales, seeing their namesake koalas in Sydney and getting a taste of rural life in Dubbo.
"You are the salt of the earth – honest, hardworking and as tough as they come.
And that resilience, sense of humour and commitment to the land are the qualities that make you unique. You are the backbone of this country." — The Duke of Sussex, in Dubbo #RoyalVisitAustraliapic.twitter.com/LVXnz0m0bj

The parents-to-be will hold a public walkabout in the city’s Royal Botanic Gardens, and watch sports activities in the grounds of Government House.
In the afternoon, the couple will take a tram to the beach where they will meet pupils from Albert Park Primary School and the president of BeachPatrol and help tidy up the foreshore.
The duke and duchess are partway through a 16-day tour, during which they will see the Invictus Games and travel to New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.
