Burglary foiled - from 4,000 miles away

A suspected burglar who broke into a property thought he had the place to himself, until a voice told him he was being watched.

Jamie Foster, who owns Lillie's Cafe in Essex, was on holiday 4,000 miles away in the Dominican Republic when he got a notification on his phone that a presence had been detected in his shop.

When he opened the live video feed from the cafe, he was surprised to see a strange man rifling through cabinets looking for cash.

Luckily he also had a microphone hooked up and he was able to send a message to the would-be robber.
