Dramatic footage shows large runaway boulder colliding with car

This video shows the dramatic moment a vehicle was hit by a 12-foot wide boulder that had rolled down in Bome County, Tibet.

Fortunately for the occupants of the vehicle, they escaped death by a matter of centimetres with the rock striking the bonnet of the 4x4. All inside were unhurt.

An oncoming vehicle's dashcam captured the whole of the October 3 incident and shows the boulder continuing on its path of destruction smashing into several trees further down the slope.

A local police officer told Chinese video news site Pear that the car is now undergoing repairs, good luck with that!
