Five must-see TV highlights for the week ahead

The FIFA World Cup starts on Thursday, but there's plenty of other great things to watch if you don't fancy gorging on the feast of football from Russia.

4. Carter - Wednesdays at 9pm on Alibi

This brand-new crime drama stars Jerry O'Connell as Hayley Carter, an actor who plays a detective on a hit TV show, until an embarrassing public meltdown forces him to return to his sleepy hometown. Once there, Carter taps into his acting experience to become a real-life detective, partnering with his two best friends.

5. Atlanta - Sundays at 10pm on Fox
