Five must-see TV highlights for the week ahead

Summer is just around the corner and things are heating up on TV too. Check out our recommendations of what to watch next week.

1. Bulletproof - Tuesdays at 9pm on Sky One

This action-packed British police drama stars Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters as Bishop and Pike – two best mates who chase down criminals in London's East End. Bonded by the same moral code and street-wise attitude, the dynamic duo's contrasting backgrounds lead to some explosive moments.

You can now Own this beautiful animation from Disney Pixar either through your TalkTalk TV box or online. The film tells the story of Miguel, a young Mexican boy, who dreams of becoming a musician despite his family's ban on playing instruments. Universally loved by critics, this must-see family film won a Bafta, a Golden Globe and two Oscars.

3. Project Runway: Fashion Startup - Thursdays at 9pm on Lifetime

Back for a second series, this reality show is basically Dragon's Den but for the American fashion industry. In this week's episode a graduate pitches a classified listings website.

4. Humans - Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4

The long-awaited third series of this addictive sci-fi series started last week. Set in a version of present-day England where 'Synth' robots have developed consciousness these sentient machines are now fighting to survive in a world that hates and fears them.

5. Friday Night Dinner - Fridays at 10pm on Channel 4

The 4th series of this hilarious comedy starring The Inbetweeners' Simon Bird and Green Wing's Tamsin Greig started again last week and is as funny as ever.
