Labour MP announces she is expecting her first child
Labour MP Holly Lynch has announced she is expecting her first child.
Ms Lynch, 31, entered Parliament as MP for Halifax in 2015 and was re-elected with an increased majority last year.
She worked for a local technology company before becoming an MP and married husband Chris Walker in 2014.
In a tweet revealing their news, she wrote: "Pleased to announce that all being well my husband and I are expecting our first child in the autumn."

Ms Lynch told the Halifax Courier she was planning to take a short maternity leave, adding: "I look forward to the challenge of being both a mum and an MP."
