The weather has warmed up and so has the standard of TV - check out our top choices this week.

1. Genius: Picasso - Monday 23rd April at 9pm on National Geographic

This Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series dramatises the life stories of extraordinary historical figures. This season sees Antonio Banderas star as Pablo Picasso, the legendary artist whose career spanned more than 80 of his 91 years, during which time he produced an estimated 50,000 works. His passionate and creative nature led to multiple tumultuous marriages, affairs and personal alliances.

2. Station 19 - Wednesday 25th April at 9pm on Sky Living

This Grey Anatomy's spin-off is set in a Seattle fire station, the series focuses on the lives of the men and women who work there and even includes the odd cameo from Grey's Anatomy characters (watch out for Dr Meredith Grey!).

3. The Greatest Showman - Friday 27th April (Cert PG) own on TalkTalk TV

4. Britain's Got Talent - Saturday 28th April at 8pm on ITV1


The nation's biggest talent show is back, as are judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. Up for grabs is a slot at the Royal Variety Performance.

5. Homeland - Sunday 28th April at 9pm on Channel 4

The seventh season of this riveting spy thriller sees Carrie trying to secure the release of 200 members of the intelligence community who were arrested under President Keane.
