The National Lottery has moved from BBC to primetime ITV

The BBC have handed over The National Lottery results show to ITV.

After over 20 years of BBC affiliation, the lottery programme is moving to a primetime slot during Britain's Got Talent, which will be presented by Stephen Mulhern in the 90-second ad break of the reality show.

It's just the actual results, though, with the draw being available on the National Lottery's YouTube channel.

Since debuting on the BBC in November of 1994, it's since been downgraded from its 7 o'clock slot with Noel Edmonds to iPlayer in its latter years.

The switch over will begin this Saturday (14 April) during the brand new series of Britain's Got Talent and will have its first one go live during its 8.15pm advert break.

It'll be presented by members of the public who are set to read out the results, but other weeks will see famous faces join presenter Stephen, 41, on the micro show.

Britain's Got Talent begins this Saturday, at 8pm, on ITV1.
