Russian whistleblower's inquest to continue
An inquest into the death of a UK-based Russian whistleblower will resume later.
Wealthy businessman Alexander Perepilichnyy, 44, collapsed and died while out jogging near his home in Weybridge, Surrey in November 2012.
The inquest has been examining whether he died of natural causes or was poisoned, and if so, who had a motive for his murder.
He had been helping specialist investment firm Hermitage Capital Management uncover a 230 million US dollar (£150 million) Russian
money-laundering operation at the time of his death.
Mr Perepilichnyy had eaten sorrel soup prepared by his wife on the day he collapsed after returning from a trip to Paris.
The inquest, which was adjourned last summer, is being heard at the Old Bailey before Coroner Nicholas Hilliard QC.
The coroner is expected to hear fresh evidence over the next four days before returning his verdict on a later date.
