Range Rover Velar named the most beautiful car in the world

The Range Rover Velar has been awarded World Car Design of the Year at the 2018 World Car Awards in New York. The Velar is the fourth consecutive Jaguar Land Rover win in this category, joining the Jaguar F-Type, Range Rover Evoque, and Jaguar F-Pace in holding the accolade.

The World Car Awards is held at the New York International Auto Show and consists of six awards – World Car Design, World Green Car, World Urban Car, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car and the prestigious overall World Car of the Year award. They're judged by a consortium of automotive journalists from across the globe, and cars must have been sold on two or more continents to be eligible.
