In Pictures: March For Our Lives campaigners protest worldwide over gun control

The March For Our Lives movement is demanding a ban on assault-style, high-capacity rifles used with deadly efficiency in recent mass shootings.

Hundreds of protests are happening worldwide on Saturday, led by the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, where last month 17 people were gunned down by a former pupil.

Thousands of UK supporters gathered in solidarity outside the US embassy in London and the US consulate in Edinburgh.
