A teenager who allegedly stabbed two young men to death during a night of tit-for-tat violence will go on trial in the summer.
Isaiah Popoola, 18, is charged with murdering 17-year-old Abdikarim Hassan and Sadiq Mohammed, 20, in Camden, north London, on February 20.
At 8.30pm, Abdikarim was found with knife wounds to the chest and back in Bartholomew Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Mohammed died from serious stab injuries after being discovered in Malden Road at around 10.15pm.
The defendant, who allegedly wore a mask, also accused of attacking two others earlier the same evening.
He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm to another 17-year-old boy and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to Yusuf Ahmed, 24, at Aldenham Street, Camden.
All the victims are said to be of Somali descent.
Popoola, of Grafton Way in Camden, appeared before Judge Richard Marks QC at the Old Bailey via video link from Pentonville jail.
He spoke to confirm his identity and wore a prison issue yellow and green jumpsuit.
Judge Marks set a three-week trial to start on July 16 and an plea and case management hearing on May 16.
He declined bail and remanded Popoola in custody.
