Hybrid power, sharp styling and safety tech for new Volvo V60

Though Volvo's lineup is becoming more and more SUV-focused, the brand is perhaps best known for its estate cars. Vehicles such as the Duett, Amazon, 240 and 850 remain icons even today. Now, the company's BMW 3-Series Touring rival, the V60, has been updated and replaced with an all-new model, which the company revealed at an event in its native Sweden.

Based on the same modular SPA platform as the larger V90 estate, the new V60 features a look borrowed from its sister vehicles – consisting of sharp-edged lines, a bold upright grille and distinctive 'Thor's Hammer' LED daytime running lights.
